Part 14 of 36: Celestic Town

CELESTIC TOWN
Celestic Town is a small town in central Sinnoh near the foothills of Mt Coronet. It is a small town surrounded by Route 210 and 211.

And uh-oh, something's not right here. Something isn't lining up. I knew Route 210 and adjoining areas were perfectly aligned so what's going on here.

Several options to align the misalignment between the town and Route 211 was to adjust the rock faces which would be the easiest option but would spoil the accuracy or to move the eastern block of Route 211 south two blocks and reconnect it to Mt Coronet. The second option was chosen as linking Route 211 to the innards of Mt Coronet was not as important as keeping the over world accurate like the DS game.

Celestic Ruins are underground ruins containing etchings of Sinnoh's three legendary Pokemon. It is a small cave that naturally and seamlessly sits underground. It has quite a rounded off appearance.

And all the buildings. All but two were cloned from other areas and had only their roofs and interiors changed. The shrine in the centre is the only new building.

Some rounding off of the paths and Celestic Town is complete.

Part 12 of 36: Route 209, Solaceon Town and Ruins

Part 12 update. 1/3rd complete.

ROUTE 209
Route 209 is the second longest route in Sinnoh linking Hearthome City to Solaceon Town. It is an L shaped routed with a river flowing through the middle.

The route is 128x128 blocks at sea level.

The route, despite the size is actually quite simple. There's no new geographical features to note here.

LOST TOWER
The lost tower is a memorial building to the north of Route 209. It is by far the worst offender when it comes to exterior size verses interior space. The exterior measures 6x6 blocks which leaves 4x4 blocks inside. In the DS game there are four 20x16 floors that run through it. So here you only get a small room. Sorry about that.

Anyway, Route 209. Here it is finished.
